So I 'downgraded' my phone from an iPhone 3Gs to a Nokia 6700 a couple of months ago. Most people think I'm insane, but it was purely because the iPhone was costing a fortune. And I love the little Nokia I have now. It may not have a massive touch screen and a brilliant app store, but it costs me £20 a month with a lot more allowance than I had on the iPhone.
It's got buttons. I didn't realise how much I'd missed them. It's a Nokia, so it's bloody easy to use, even my Mum can use it quickly. It may be small but it's still got Maps, Navigation, 5mp Camera, HSDPA connection and more. And I can access Twitter and Facebook much faster on it's lightweight Snaptu app than I could on the iPhone's apps.
Obviously the iPhone is still the best smartphone around, but if you can't afford it, then something like the 6700 is just for you.
